And He's BACK!!!!!!!

My Dave Hill came back yesterday. Wow what a wonderful day. I knew I missed him but now that I have him around again I realize how great it is to have him around. He is so wonderful and does such great things for me. Yesterday he was exhausted, but still helped me fold laundry and carry the basket up to my room. What a servant he is. It's amazing! I can't wait to be with him again tonight. Thank you to everyone that was praying. Thank you Gregg and Grace for coming to the airport and making that wonderful sign!

Love you all!

hello from africa

Hi everone. Thanks for praying for me. I have been doing alittle better, my side and my back near my kidney feels sore. Sometimes in my admoinal area. Its weird. Some days i feel fine. I have had a blessed time in Zambia. In Ndola we worked with 2 Vineyard churces in outreach to aids orphens. The kids were great but very sick. They had swollen stomachs and runny noses(signs of starvation)Onlast tueday the hope center had a few kids. but the wenesday outreach in the village of twapia was packed with kids. All the kids had to share a plate of little meat, little vetagables and hugh mound of enchima(kinda like grits).Alot of kids did not get to eat and were outside the buiding but reached their hands thru small window openings asking for food. The christian in ndola were great and we had great fellowship with themWe also helped out a christian conference with them. In livinstone we helped with door to door outreach and 2 days of a crusade in a field in village of linda. we got to pray in the local hospital which was crowded, understaffed and had little medicine. We actually had some members pray for a unconscience man and he suddenly woke up and said The Lord has healed me I will be home tommorow!!Praise God.I have had 2 opportunities to preach 1 time in ndola 1 time in livingstone.Tommorrow we head to Jburg south africa and on to kwa zulu natal.Keep praying for health for out team I havent felt 100%and I have had a few bout with dirrrea(db) God Bless. i love you Kara. My beautiful fiance

Free and Clear in Africa

Hello everyone. I have a report from Africa. Thank you to everyone for your prayers. I talked to Dave today and he is feeling much better. Everyone there thinks it's some pulled muscle or hernia (still not fun), but Dave is feeling much better. He says "Thanks to all the prayers!" I am so blessed by everyone's prayers, thoughts, concerns, e-mails, and calls. My Chirstain family has outdone themselves again! Thanks so much. Love you all,
Kara

Africa

I sent Dave off to Africa EARLY Friday morning. The group looked excited and ready to go (as much excitement that you can have at 4:00 am). I'm curious on how they are doing. I'm curious on how Dave is doing. It's so weird to not have him here. I haven't even heard from him via e-mail. They are busy, busy, busy! Once I talk to him; I'm going to encourage him to write something on this blog; so look for postings from him.

I want to start walking in the mornings and memorizing verses. This morning I worked on Romans 12:1 "Therefore, I urge you, brother [and sisters], in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God -- this is your spiritual act of worship"

It's so easy for us to get caught up in being spiritual (praying, speaking in tongues, healing, musical worship) In this verse this gives us a great way to have a "spiritual act of worship" by simply what we do with our bodies....how we spend our time at work (what our bodies are doing), what we consume (junk food), how we drive or physically react to other drivers. In view of God's mercy how can we be more spiritual and worship God better with our bodies??

Food for thought!
Love,
Kara
